December 3, 2006 Capreol Legion President Brian Way presented a $7000 cheque to Giselle McDavid, wife of Cpl. Trevor McDavid who lost his life July 13, 2006 in a rescue excercise with the Canadian Armed Forces. The Capreol Legion had set up a trust fund to assist Giselle and her family. Members of the Capreol Legion and other citizens from the area contributed generously to the trust fund.
